We offer an outstanding range of full-livery packages and
we are the only BHS approved livery yard in the area. A DIY Livery
service can also be provided for professional clients. Please call

Swallowfield also host a range of
on-site BD, BS events plus unaffiliated dressage, cross-country,

which run throughout the year.

Meet some of our liveries..
Vivienne Kelly:
Having been at the same yard for 10 years, it was an enormous wrench
moving; for both Spirit and I. However all the angst proved to be
wasted energy. I moved Spirit Xmas 2011 and have not looked back.
Katie, Sam, Paddy, Jo and the team at Swallowfield pay attention to
the small details. Day/night rugs changed according to the temperature,
stables mucked and regularly skipped out; a team of leading
professionals working in support, including Andrew at Astwood Equine
Osteopaths, small details but important to happy healthy horses.
Highly recommended are lessons with Jo, Spirit and I have been
transformed in just two lessons - dying to see how good we can be......

Elaine Wallace:
In 2006 my husband and I moved to Warwickshire. Moving house was easy, moving livery yards was unbelievably traumatic! After over 20 years at one yard, the idea of change scared the living daylights out of me. After extensive research and speaking to anyone and everyone who knew the area, I visited several places. I'm now in my fifth year at Swallowfield and I can definitely say that I came up trumps.
Facilities aside - dressage coaching, show-jumping clinics, regular shows, indoor and outdoor arenas, solarium, cross-country course, lunge pen, horse-walker - Swallowfield is made by the people, staff and liveries.
Lucy, our yard manager, runs a very tight ship. Lucy and the rest of the team look after about 30 horses, ranging from advanced competition individuals, to (my) high maintenance in-foal diva.
Jo is an exceptional teacher. Her enthusiasm for helping her pupils and their horses to progress never wanes. With Jo's considerable assistance, and to my surprise, I was reserve champion in the Purelime Preliminary Championships at the Blue Water National Dressage Championships in September 2008, and then qualified for the winter regionals at Novice and Novice FSM. More recently, with a new horse, I was privileged to be included in the Central Team for the Home International in 2010 and have qualified for the winter regionals at Elementary level.
As I said - I came up trumps!

Sam Oliver:
I have been based at Swallowfield for 2 years now, work part time
for Jo, and am in charge of clipping the horses on the yard. I currently
compete four horses, ranging from novice to foxhunter level. I now
don't have to travel far with the younger horses now that we run senior
SJ shows here, and jump some of the liveries' dressage horses to give
them a bit of fun!

Beth Eldred:
My name is Beth Eldred. I am 14 years old and have had my 14.2hh
pony Floss, for nearly 2 years. She loves show jumping and has
competed up to Newcomers with her previous owners. I have been at
Swallowfield for just over a year now and we have recently
affiliated in British Showjumping. Having the British Showjumping
competitions at Swallowfield makes it a lot easier to compete
at weekends. I love my fortnightly lessons with Dan Henson on
a Monday night!

Sophie Garner & Floriana:
I have been based at Swallowfield for 4 years and compete Flori
in Trailblazers dressage competitions. My good friend Anna Burden
shares the ride with me and loves to jump her. We both have full
time jobs and children, and having Flori at Swallowfield takes
all the pressure off me, and I know she is fit and well looked
after. I have lessons with Jo when I can fit them in, and have a
'crash course' in dressage before a competition, and with no
transport, I can compete at the yard which is perfect!

Samantha Gray and Danny:
I have been based at Swallowfield for 12 months and am
currently loaning Danny from Steph Coathup, whilst she
is at university. I have loaned him for 4 months and have
started British Showjumping competitions and Trailblazer
dressage competitions. Danny is very experienced and I
am taking him to BYRDS camp this Spring. I enjoy my lessons
with Jo and Dan and I can compete on site which
is fantastic.
